STI - is able to interface compatible P-25 mobile or portable radios and decode a received Project 25 standard 1011 Hz test pattern being transmitted by a base station to measure BER, RSSI and Quality of Service metrics during drive-test or indoor projects. These measurements and the location of readings from a GPS are displayed on screen and then saved into the measurement database. This measurement process is repeated continuously during the drive-test throughout the goegraphic area of intrest. The STI Field Test 6 completely automates the drive test data acquisition, recording of BER, RSSI and QoS from data returned by the P-25 radio and report of the coverge test results.
