Description
The NXU-2B is a general purpose Radio over IP stand-alone device that interfaces full duplex audio, one RS-232 port and four status bits onto an Ethernet network. It is optimized for use with radios, radio communication consoles, and other JPS products such as the ACU product line. The NXU-2B features a variety of codecs, allowing audio links to be configured for the optimal combination of bandwidth and signal quality. It provides a low cost, flexible method for extending radio communications over existing network infrastructure; eliminating the need for leased lines and microwave sites.
